It was for a friend, but it was her kid who ruined the cake! But hey, it was his birthday, and he wanted to eat Thomas!

rofl, musta been the smash cake, haha! Reminded me when my newphew did that to me. When I got upset my mother told me nicely, "Well, you showed him how to stick his fingers in the cake" I laughed then too.

Sorry, I thought it was kinda cute.

It's sad for you, but the little fingerprints in the icing are adorable icon_biggrin.gif Think of him as a satisfied customer!

You'll have to admit, he really didn't do much damage. He said he wanted to eat Thomas, and that's pretty much all he ate. That is just too funny. Sorry about your cake. But as mentioned before, at least it was the client's kid.

Was he punished? (The MAN, not the kid.)

You know, my first thought when I saw the pic was "Are you SURE it was the kid who ate Thomas? And not the man?" My boyfriend is CONSTANTLY swiping bites of things he's not supposed to when my back is turned! I just took a fondant class and brought home the cake with a cute bear on top and wouldn't you know, the next time I looked at it, it's face was missing!! Boys, I tell ya! icon_lol.gif

OMG!!! I feel your pain totally!!!!!!!!!!!!! My son did this to one of the cakes that I made for him!!!! I was so upset i just spent forver on the cake and he was overly excited and could not wait to see it, so i showed him and shut the fridge and told him he had to wait till the party tomorrow.....then.....he decided when i was not looking to that he wanted to try a part of it and ruined the WHOLE cake! I was in tears, so I totally feel your pain! Awwww!!!!! But at least you know it was liked and tasted great that he just could not resist!!! ha!

I feel so bad for you I've had that happen too many times. I finally had to get a lock for my fridge.

Oh my gosh! I was feeling bad about snickering at how cute that pic was (read "the damage") then I saw that the birthday boy did it....whew..... at least it was his! Kinda adds to the charm.....

Great pic and story to go with it!

Sorry for your loss, however.
