I think you could airbrush them with a stencil, I would try it, I have seen this and always wondered how they did it, I tried to copy it with a stamp and food coloring, but it didnt work. If you try, let me know how it went, good luck!

Wow! I am so happy I stumbled across this post, because I am also planning the same thing for my own wedding! (and here I thought I was original for wanting edible cards).

I had never considered the printed writing like in this example, but instead was planning on having a "piping party" to do them by hand. Well, now this idea moves to the top of this list!

All I can say is wow--those cookies are awesome, writing or no writing. I would never be able to get enough money in my area to justify the amount of time the piping would take to make them perfect. Incredible!
