I have to make a nightmare before christmas grooms cake...and it has a fence on the top of it...it actually looks like toothpicks...but i wanted to do something edible....whats the best thing to use? i'm not new to this i've been decorating for 12 years..but not out of my home...I don't know all the new techniques...thanks for your help..

I'm not an expert but I think that I would use gumpaste. Just let it harden up. Good luck!

Gumpaste would be the best choice. It is more stable and a lot easier to handle.

Hi, I would go for gumpaste too! I did a garden cake and did a fence around the whole cake and used gumpaste for that. I printed out the fence template which is under Sketches and patterns on here.
