OK so I thought i had chocolate cake mix. I only have white or yellow. I need to make chocolate, anyone have any great ideas how to make chocolate cake out of the white or yellow cake mix?? Just add cocoa to the white maybe?

Do u have any chocolate instant pudding? Or maybe add melted chocolate? I am just taking a guess. Hope someone else will come up with something solid...

I've done it with cocoa and dutch processed cocoa. I followed the WASC recipe but added the cocoa instead of flour. The dutch cocoa worked MUCH better. HTH

hersheys cocoa powder would be of use ....I like the pudding idea with that

if you have brownie mix it will work, I did it several times and was good

I mix one box of brownie mix and one box yellow (or white) and follow directions on each one and mix all together and bake as a cake
