What is the difference in figuring out the serving cost for a wedding cake vs. a birthday cake? Are they the same when you are looking at cost per serving size? I'm just wondering becasue some birthday cakes can be very simple, while others can be eloborate...kind of along the lines of a small wedding cake. Sorry for so many questions related to pricing, but I'm new at all this pricing stuff...

Thanks.

Kim

Many threads and leading professionals have come to the conclusion that a cake is a cake. You price any cake as you would another depending on how elaborate it is and the time you take making it.

The only thing I could think could raise the price for wedding cakes would be the setting up. HTH. thumbs_up.gif
