Hi there, I have a choc. cake for friday morning... I have a few questions
1. Does strawberry taste good as a filling for chocolate cake?
2. I want to use Fondant... I know putting fondant in the fridge is not the best so how long can the fondant cake with strawberry filling sit on the counter? Or is the fridge the only way to go.

Yes strawberry would taste good with chocolate! I filled my cake on thurs(due sat) decorated on friday and it was fine. It should be fine on the counter. Some people put fondant cakes in the fridge and take them out and dry in front of a fan. I have never done this. I usually leave mine out with no problems. HTH!
