Given that the OP was already a little unsure about the quality of her cake, I don't know if "I don't like it" was really a helpful phrase to use. It could easily have been left off the post. As this was what I meant, I'm not sure I appreciate being referred to as acting like a 2-year-old.
Plus, I find both Mensch's taglines a little offensive.
Sorry for hijacking your thread, OP. I think your cake is beautiful and lots of people have given you great advice about how to go about dealing with the situation. You should do whatever you are comfortable with doing.
