Take a knife and go criss-cross making little diamond patterns. Then put a little elongated dot in the bottom of each diamond. Make the diamonds with the bottom point pointing toward the bottom of the cake. (I hope you're understanding what I'm trying to say!) icon_biggrin.gif

I've been doing criss-cross but then they start looking funny to me. kind of like the diamond starts going sideways...

I used the diamond impression mat on the pineapple in my pics and then put small dots at the bottom.

I did the criss cross diamond method on this cake for the pineapple and then made a little brown X kinda in the center of where the diamonds cross.

You will get a little spot in the back where they finally intersect, but that's easy to cover with decoration... I used the diamond imprint mat as well, then free-handed the ones that started to get a little more skewed...

I can never figure out how to attach, so here's the link:

Thanks for all the help! I used the impression mat and tried my best. It wasn't as easy or as simple as I expected, but I made it work. Thanks again!
