Can any one tell me about iceamalt.Im a self tought cake decorator I've made a wedding cake with hard candy and would like to learn how to blow sugar I have heared this should be done with iceamalt. Where do I get it?What's the recipe to use it?

I don't think you can make your own isomalt since it is a modified sugar.

Thank you for the info. at lesat now I have a place to start. I thought you must mix the Iceomalt with a certan amount of water than heat to hard crack stage? Do you use it exactly like table sugar?

You do NOT need to add water to the isomalt in order to heat it up.
Just heat it up dry 1 kg at a time on medium high heat. It should take 30 minutes.
DO NOT combine Isomalt and regular sugar, it's a waste.
