Can I Get A Smudge Off Fondant???

I accidently smudged a little paint on a figure Im making.. not that obvious but Id really love to be able to just get it OUT! Is there some kind of trick I can use?

use a dab of vodka or clear vanilla and lightly rub. then go over it with a very light coating of shortening and let it sit for awhile. Usually disappears icon_smile.gif

If it is for a competition (i.e. NOT GOING TO BE EATEN), I have used bleach with a Q-tip. Again, I WOULD NEVER do this for anything that might remotely be eaten!!!!!!!!

clear vanilla works. trust me, i've taken black-black off of white. works like a charm!

also rubbing a tad of white gel color on it then wipe it all off.

Thanks everyone! it was on my dori figure for my nephew's Nemo cake but the vanilla did the trick! I love the fact that no matter how big or how small the booboos I make are, I can always count on the CC members to save me!!! I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way... thanks again!
