Rice Paper???

can you put printed rice paper on cookie forsted with royal icing?

i am trying to put written information on the cookie and i thought of rice paper to use.

any ideas please. thanks

Yes rice paper is also known as Wafer paper. you can print on it - like an edible image. i'm sure that you also can use the edible markers on them too - but its very thin and breaks easy so you have to use a light hand.

I use Antonia 74 RI, let it dry completly and then attach my wafer/rice paper design with light corn syrup and a clean paintbrush. After attaching, I turn the cookies over (so bottom of cookie is up) so that the design will dry flat. leave them at way for approx 30 minutes. You can go back once that is dry and accent with sprinkles or other RI details.
