Hi,

Does anyone know a way to first cut a scallop/swag from paper using diameter of the cake? You then unfold it and place it around the cake to make your scallops evenly. I sure would appreciate any help.

thanks!!

Here's a bump, but it sounds like you have answered your own question ...?

Measure the circumference if the cake layer. Decide how many swags you want. Divide the circumference by that number and that is the distance between beginning and end of each swag.

Example: circumference 36"
number of swags 6
36 divided by 6 = 6
6 " space for each swag
