Every time I do a cake, I always make cupcakes for my neighbors. I need some cheap, but cute ways to package them. (cupcake boxes are to expensive) I usually send between 6 and 12 cupcakes to three different houses. I'd love to hear any ideas on how to send these in something cute, affordable and disposable? Thanks so, so much for your suggestions icon_biggrin.gif

do you just mean the plain white basic boxes? i doubt you will find much cheaer... you might hit on something useable at the dollar store, but that will be hit and miss. simply putting on in a cellophane bag and tying would be pretty, maybe that would be cheaper, put them on a thick sheet of card to make it look a bit prettier?

Dollar store always has nice platters....could put them all on the plate or put in a basket lined with tissue paper (food safe)

when i send goodies to my nephew's school I wrap the cupcakes up in plastic wrap and tie a piece of ribbon on top to keep it closed.

Thank you! I've used shirt boxes, dollar store items and cupcake boxes so far. Just looking for something dirt cheap, but still nice. I don't want to ask for the packaging back. Thanks so much for the ideas! icon_smile.gificon_smile.gif
