The SIL of a client of mine spoke to me this afternoon to ask if I would be interested in doing cakes for their catering business. Most of their current business is corporate events. I declined due to health reasons. (Working full time in a busy bakery would put a lot more stress on my bad knees.)

They have been catering for a long time, over 17 years, I believe. Formerly they were TJ Cinnamon's on Rodney Parham Road. Their business moved from The Market Place in West Little Rock to nearby on Shackleford Road and was renamed. They have been getting requests for cakes for office parties and corporate functions. They have recently outfitted a bakery with new equipment in their new building and had hired a caker to work for them. It is my understanding that she didn't work out.

So they are now looking for a caker with experience who may at the moment be working out of a home kitchen and would like to do more in a commercial kitchen. We discussed their needs and it is my understanding that they prefer buttercream, with fondant accents, not ALL fondant.

I know there are a lot of cakers here in Little Rock . This is a wonderful opportunity for someone in the greater Little Rock area.

If anyone is interested, please PM me for more information.

That sounds like a great opportunity. If this is full-time, I can't do it, because I have a full time job, in no position to quit without really competitive pay/benefits. What's the contact info? I'd like to know more about it. Thanks a lot!
