Anyone Now How To Make Puff Bases?

Hello, again!
Does anyone know how to make Puff Bases for wedding cakes, etc.?
I think they are beautiful, but I'm am so not gifted when it come to being creative.
Any help would be appreciated!

Wandootie, Squirrellycakes is putting together a tutorial and posting it soon, but not sure when. Maybe you could pm her and get the directions. I'm not sure exactly how it's done, but I do sew and I would think that you would need to cut out a circle of fabric larger than the base you are using, run two rows of gathering stitches and pull up the stitches to gather your fabric. I wouldn't gather it all the way until you have placed it around your base. You could cover your base in quilting batting to give it that puffy look and then add your fabric covering and adjust it to fit. Hope that helps.
Jackie hasn't had a chance to do anything with it yet, she is one busy lady. But I did post it on another site and after having read it, added a few more written comments to the submission I made to Jackie.

It is one method of making such a base, I hope to have a few others in the next little while as time permits.
