I am looking for a good "curd" type receipt to use as a cake filler. Or at least a general filler to use as a base that I can add my own unique flavors to.
I know the store has a Lemon curd but I was hoping to get something a tiny bit more creamy. Any ideas?
I would love to have it all sorted out before OCT. I am going to use it in my Halloween cake.
Thank you. icon_eek.gif

I use this all of the time! I make my own curd though - very easy and less expensive (look at Food Network - Barefoot Contessa's recipe). I mix about 35% lemon curd to 65% prepared Bettercreme, often with a splash of Limoncello.

It's very good and I get many repeat orders for it.
