I am wondering if anyone out there knows about events that may be coming up in our area. (San Antonio / Austin) I am having a hard time finding out about events that have anything to do with cake decorating.

Also, there is a cake store here that usually keeps me apprised. It's allinonebakeshop.com.

Otherwise, I don't know of anything right off hand but would be interested in finding out too.

I know Converse because I grew up in Midland and I remember Lee H.S. played Converse Judson (Sorry, I think I spelled that wrong) in the championship back in....'83 I think. Having to clear away a lot of cobwebs to remember that. Anyway, I didn't go to Lee but I definitely remember that. Hugs!

I live in Longview, Texas. It's about 60 miles west of Shreveport, Louisiana and 125 miles southeast of Dallas.

Misdawn, one of my roommates at UT was from Kilgore. I think her name was Shelly Barton...that was almost 20 years ago so the cobwebs are thick. My mom is also an East Texan. She grew up in Blossom outside of Paris.

I know a Shelly Barton...hmmm I wonder if it's the same woman. You said about 20 yrs ago in college? She would probably be the right age. I wonder if the lady you know has any little sisters. I graduated with Shelly Barton's little sister.
