Greetings everyone - I'm attempting to make a lobster shaped cake. I am using the wilton football shaped pan for the body. Any suggestions for the claws??? icon_smile.gif

I would use a still warm rice krispy treat mixture to shape the claws and cover them with fondant. That would be easier than trying to carve the cake.

I also found this photo on Flickr. The decorator "courtneyscakes" said she used fondant on wires to make the legs and claws and gum paste to make the antennae.
