I found a box of Knox Gelatin pouches..Can I still use them to make gelatin bows or do I need to buy another box? They are about 2 years old...

Thanks

Knox gelatin packages do have an expiration date on them due to FDA standards, but that doesn't mean that they won't work. I had an old box and it worked fine. Best way to test to see is take 1/2 cup of water and place just one packet in it, mix it with a spoon til dissolved, and put it to the side for a few minutes. If it gels than your good, if not than toss it. Great thing is you can still use that mixed gelatin in your recipe just melt over simmering water and use. icon_smile.gif
