Check with the folks at wilton.com, they should be able to direct you. Also, many Michael's stores offer classes.

Hi, I'm new to this too and have found Youtube an invaluable resource. Check out the videos by tonedna1 and aine2. They are awesome!
And of course, there are the articles and videos here on CC.
Happy caking!

Wilton offers 3 classes in sugar: beginner, advanced, and isomalt. I've taken the first 2 and loved them--the instructor is a gem and the classes are well worth the $.

The premier instructor in sugar is Ewald Notter. He teaches at his school in Orlando and also at other venues. His sugar class is a week long.

BKeith Ryder teaches classes, too. He's out of VA. I think he does classes at his shop, and he also does them at ICES days of sharing in various places. His prices are extremely reasonable and he's a wonderful instructor.

Frank Lee from Indianapolis does a terrific job and is teaching at Country Kitchen SweetArt in Fort Wayne in October and I think he is teaching in Indianapolis this year too.
