I bought a kit, because it was about $5 than purchasing the brush and compressor separately.

I bought it from Air Brush City.

They have a handling fee of $5.95.

I bought Airbrush City Kit # 144AC-3 Airbrushing Starter Kit
includes:

* 1- Airbrush City Model 144AC Airbrush Compressor
* 1- Airbrush City Model # 1404-BA PRO Single Action Airbrush Kit Includes Braided Airline
* 1- Airbrush City Model # 1104 Professional Dual Action Airbrush Kit w Braided Airline
* 1- Airbrush City Choice of GD102 or GD100 Airbrush Kit with Braided Airline
I chose the GD102 brush, because it has a wider range.

I spent $166. Sorry I forgot to put that in the original post.

I think today is the last day of free shipping, at least that's what it said on the website.

I went to that site from a post, I found here from 2008. Said it the GD100 was the brush Bronwen Weber uses.

I did upgrade to the GD102, but it didn't cost anymore.

Hth.

Very cool! That's something that I'm hoping to get one day! I'll have to write this down.

I was in the same boat. I finally searched airbrush and came up with a thread from 2008. One person bought the GD100, after taking a class with Bron wen Weber. Loved it. Another person, had the same model brush and loved it.

This seemed to be the best deal. The one brush will probably never be used, because it's single action.

The lowest price I could find on a KopyKake, was from a local establishment for $250.

I think I'm ahead of the game. After tax on the local, I've saved over $100.

I don't have a clue how to use it. I will be taking a class in the near future. If I decide I might actually have some talent with it, I can upgrade later on.

HTH

I would love to get one - does anyone know any suppliers in Sydney and what is the most popular/successful brand or model?
