it should kick in immediately. You might need to clear your cookies and internet cache to force your cookie to update your status.

If that does not work, please submit a support ticket via the CONTACT tab and we will work to resolve it asap.

Thanks Heath

I keep trying to get the subscription but it is saying declined or wrong information. The only thing I can think of is that it is a debit card does that matter? I would rather not use a credit card.

Okay, I'm pleading ignorance here.
I clicked on the Subscription button. It took me to a link for Privacy Policy/Terms and Conditions/ Contact us.
I read through all those pages and found nothing about subscribing.
What am I doing wrong?

it should not matter as long as it has a Visa or Mastercard logo on it.

The subscriptions button on the left hand menu goes to the subscription page. Are you clicking on a link somewhere else?

I went back after I had posted this, used the link, and the page was different. I have signed up!
Another question, though. I responded to this post by clicking on the link in the email message I got that this post had another response. The page now looks just like it did before I signed up for the ad-free subscription-no frames, all spread out... Is that because I did not go through the home page?

you may need to clear your cookies and internet cache in order to have the subscription mode kick in properly.

I decided to pay the price every month.

Now, I would love to know why I have to deal with Twitter and Facebook.

I think that's still advertisement.

I will probably go back to the free cakecentral.com

The Twitter and Facebook links are not advertisements, they are links to external cakecentral resources.

For example, if the cakecentral site is down, we now utilize twitter to broadcast what is wrong and what the progress is in fixing it. It is an extra communication tool.

No one pays us to put those there.

Of course you are welcome to use the website in either mode, but I do hope that you find the site loads faster with the ad-free mode since you are not waiting for the ad-server to load the extra images.

Are you supposed to get an e-mail that confirms that you have purchased the ad-free option?
I didn't.
I don't see ads on the top anymore, so I am assuming it went through.
thanks,
Lora

Loving this feature but I have a question.

I've always used the CC link to get to Global Sugar Arts web site cause I thought that helped the site make money.

But now, since I don't see the GSA link can I still do this some how or am I misinformed and it doesn't matter.

Thanks for this and all the other wonderful upgrades.

It is faster without the ads, and anything that makes my life easier and for so little money is a good thing!
