Hi all! I wanted to give you a little background on why this is so important to me. My son who is turning 9 on Fri is having a suprise pool party Sat. We moved in this house about a year ago, and there are a few kids that live on this street. They are so terribly mean to him and bully him at school ( I am taking care of this as we speak ). Before we moved he had alot of little friends come over, and really could care less about the cake. But this year I want things to be a little more personal for him. Instead of the party being centered around him, I am centering him around the party....I want ALL the attention focused on him. He is a huge fan of Star Wars, and so is hubby. I could have went with a store bought cake, but my son gives me so much joy and to be only 9, he is there whenever I need him icon_smile.gif I want to make something unusual. Something that will leave a good memory with my son. I am not very good at detailing Yoda, but hubby is so he says if I can do the cake and get it ready for detail he will help with the rest. Any ideas? Also, I really like using the fondant, and want to bring that into play some how. I just really want my son to have a great birthday...poor lil guy really deserves it. Please feel free to email me if need be. TIA

Beth

I have done a 3D sculpted Yoda in the past. Just click photo at the bottom of this post. It took a couple of sleepless nights but if you think your DH is up for the task I can send you the instructions. Make sure your email is in your profile.

Talmas,
Thank you so much for the instructions. My next step is to purchase the Ducky pan. I have been wanting that one for a long time, so here is my reason to buy it.
