Has anyone bought the Wilton's recipe file book "My Kitchen Keepsakes?
My daughter just got it for me for my birthday. It comes with a plastic cover to protect the book, but it doesn't fit and if I try to force it it tears. It also has the plastic pockets that hold the recipe cards that come with it, but the cards are to BIG for the pockets.
My daughter and I were both dissappointed. icon_sad.gif
I will return to the Michaels where she bought it...that is several miles away.
I was just wondering if anyone had bought it and if you had any problems with it.
I email Wilton, but haven't received a reply yet.

I don't have one, however I remember a post being made awhile ago on here that others had the same problem. Many returned it that could b/c non of it fit together.

I might sugges finidng a nice photo album and index cards or post cards. If you get the post cards you can get sheets of them and then print off the recipes and have extra pictures with it. Just make sure you find a photo album to fit your index cards. I did this a few years ago and I love it.

I am also hoping to dig out some pictures of my family and I cooking and holiday times and putting them in their. It is a family cookbook with recipes from my Grandma's so far and a few from me and my aunts. I hope to keep it growing and be able to pass it down eventually-and it is big enough that I can buy more pages and add to it later if needed.
