Hi! I want to make an upside down wedding cake...I basically have an idea how it should be down structurally..

But does anybody have any instuctions...ideas...diagrams..tips or hints that would help? Or, a website I could go to? I cant seem to find any informations and I KNOW somebody here can help.

I would suggest you build a stand. Something that looks like an upside down cupcake stand.

just out of curiosity is the very bottom a cake dummy? It looks like a lot of weight on that small cake

It can be made of real cake. The cake itself isn't supporting the upper tiers, it's the support system.

I figured it was the support system..which is why I was curious at different methods. what is the best/easiest way to go about the supports?

I bet it would work with the SPS... Just uses very sturdy cut-to-fit circles under each cake, and then use the SPS plate the exact size of the cake it's being pushed into, instead of having it fit the cake it will be supporting. Does that make sense? So for the bottom tier (6" cake?) use a 6" SPS plate, and place the next tier (8"? 9") on top, with the edges hanging over. icon_confused.gif
