Hi CC Gang
I found a Kitchen to rent and I have all the neccessary legal stuff done with. The hard part! haha
Now I am just trying to figure out how the heck to work out of a commercial kitchen as oppossed to my own house!
What are the little things I should have with me? Should I store everything there (ingredients) etc..?
Help!
thanks

Well, since you are a few weeks ahead of me, I can't give you the definitive answer but I can tell you what I'm going to "try" to do.

I am going to have my own mixer, I'm pretty picky about that. The lady I am renting from is doing some rearranging to make room for my "stuff" so I'm going to keep as much there as possible. I hope to keep the pans I use most, some boards and boxes but only what I will need for that week or two. I will also use all of my own measuring cups, and utensils. The only things of hers that I plan to use are her oven, sinks, work table, and storage area. I have a big tackle box that I can carry back and forth for small utensils, bags, tips, luster dust, etc. In our agreement, she is allowing me to user her soaps and stuff (thanks for hint IndyDebi icon_wink.gif ) and I'm even going to carry my own paper towels since I use a lot of them.

Basically, I plan to keep some of the bigger stuff there and carry small stuff back and forth. As far as food stuffs, I'll keep some there and refill as needed. It may change based on how many cakes I'm doing and how much space will be available for me.

Good luck to you! almost all of my paperwork is done. thumbs_up.gif
