I asked a question earlier on what to do if I didn't have many pictures for my website gallery for my newly formed cake business. Will it be impossible to get cake orders if I just have "under construction" on this page for a month or two? I think that would be better than just having a few cakes pictured.

I live in a small town of 5000 people, with only 15,000 within 100 miles, so I think I'll get most of my orders from word of mouth. I just want a website so people can check prices, get ideas, etc.

Can I get some opinions on this? Thanks a ton!

Do you have any practice party cakes at all? You can make just one dummy cake and get several different configurations by mixing and matching ribbons, flowers, tiered, stacked, etc. You just need to get them to book an appointment really, so I wouldn't worry too much about the gallery.
