Baking More Than One Cake (Same Time )

When you have many orders. Different sizes and flavors.
Do you mix and bake 2 or 3 at the same time ?
Or mixed and put them in the oven together ?
Do the cake take a longer time to bake??
I want to hear different experiences.
I would fill my oven as much as I could with as many pans as I could, leaving air space between them. Smaller cakes (like the 6" ones) would be placed in the front so I could take them out when they finished baking (long before the 10" ones in the back were finished baking).
12" cakes bake longer than 8" cakes, so yeah there is different baking times. Just pull them out when they're done, leaving the others to finish baking.
I fill the middle rack as much as I can and just like Indydebi says, I put the smaller ones in front.
Ditto to Indydebi! I stuffed Wilton's giant cupcake pan, a round dome 8" pan and two 6" ers in my oven at once and just pulled out the 6"s when they were donw and then the 8" and left the cupcake to finish. I always stuff my oven as much as I can. If I can get it all in there at once it saves on electricity and heat in the kitchen.
does anyone use the top rack too??? I cant... cooks WAY hotter for some reason... I might throw some x-cuppies but thats it... any way I can fix this?? Two racks would mean getting 10 cakes in at once!
