Decorating By Allidsk8 Updated 9 Jun 2014 , 7:35pm by 2txmedics
Does anyone know where I can get a book on sculpting Disney characters entitled
"Disney Character Collection for Polymer Clay" It is by Shelly Comiskey and unfortunatley is out of print Any advice would be great!!! Thank you in advance!
Amazon has 4 used copies available starting at $65.00, and eBay has one listed for $19.99. Here's the URL for the eBay item: http://cgi.ebay.com/Disneys-Character-Collection-Polymer-Clay_W0QQitemZ320401842254QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item4a9970204e&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12%7C66%3A2%7C39%3A1%7C72%3A2122%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50
Thank you! I saw the amazon posting this morning but it seems silly to spend $65 on a book just so I can make Winnie the Pooh! Hopefully the ebay one won't get that high! Thank you so much for finding it
Have you checked on abe.com? I have not gone out there to check on this particular book, however, they have so many books that are out of print. Their prices are great also and this is normally where I buy my books. Good luck with locating one that is in the right price!!!

Oh, I've been looking for this book for ages! Jaimelt76
I tried the link and it took me to an upload page and I can't figure out where to go to download the book; can you explain?! I'm so thrilled that this thread came up, this is an awesome book but I figured I'd never see it because of the cost! Thanks to all!!
This is how you download it. Click on free user and it take about 30 seconds for the next option. Then a blue circle pops up that says download click on that and it will download for you. I hope that helps. If you have anymore ? just ask. Jaime

Ok my goodness, thank thank you, I checked the other books she have posted and they are great. I even joined to save her gallery as a favorite. I my spanish is a bit rusty, but by the time I finish doing some of those projects my spanish should be better.
I suggest everyone look at the gallery to see her other books.
Bashini, Thanks for that link she has a lot more pictures on there of diffrent characters. It will come in handy.
OK, thanks to you all for posting/replying to this thread! I downloaded that for future use!
Does anybody have ideas on where to find help on sculpting Madagascar characters? My son wants a Madagascar cake next month, and I can't find anything. I was oging to give it a shot this weekend without any instructions, but anything would help out! If my characters are a disaster, I'm going to go for FBCT or fondant cut outs, we'll see!
Thanks,
Stacy
OMG! How wonderful this is! I really didn't think I would be printing off a book this morning but I can't resist. Thanks to all for this!
