I always have trouble working out how much cake I need. Can I please have some help?

I am making 4 inch high mud cakes. My cousin wants to serve the cake for dessert. She is having 100 guests.

I like the look of 6 inch, 8 inch and 12 inch (round) but would it be enough.
Am I better off with 8, 10 and 12? any other alternatives?

Sorry, I find this the hardest part.

Mel,

The 6, 8, and 12 will only give you 92 servings. The 8, 10, and 12 will give you 118 servings. I have attached the link for the wedding servings from wilton according to pan size.

Hope it helps you out some.
