I agreed to take sugar cookies to my kids karate promotion tomorrow night. I have some left over fondant from a cake I did a couple of days ago, so thought I would just use it. I'm thinking of doing silhouettes or the ghee with belts like I saw on here. I also thought of painting on the fondant or something, but have never done that. Suggestions?

Well if you decided you want to paint on the fondant you can add a bit of vodka with the paste colours to make like a paint and use that to paint with. This will dry completely with a matt finish.

Also you only need a tiny tiny bit of vodka too do so cose it can go very 'water coloury' if you thin it out too much. Oh you can use lemon extract/juice or clear vanilla extract instead of vodka if you want too.

You can look at my painting pic in my gallery if you want to see what the painting with food colouring looks like, i diltued my colours with vodka and painted on gumpaste.
