I have to make cupcakes for a baby shower and I'm not sure what size pan to use. The regular size cupcakes seem so small. (I'm used to making big cakes). It seems like the standard cupcake is so little for the amount of icing you put on it. Maybe my usually buttercream icing is too much for a cupcake. I use Sugarshack's recipe. Can someone let me know what size pan to use and what icing works best? Thanks.

I use a standard cupcake pan. I also use good old BC on top, usually in a nice swirl pattern. Thats the best thing about a cupcake. The frosting! I have found a slightly larger cupcake liner at my local $.99 store. You should check around and see if you have them too. The box is labeled X-large and there are 75 liners to a pack. This actually gives me a slightly larger cupcake than traditional Wilton/Reynolds liners.
