Now that I have fallen in love with Indydebi's buttercream, I am searching for variations. Has anyone experimented with adding white chocolate, milk chocolate or trying to flavor it in various ways? I think it has a great flavor, makes a nice size batch, simple to make and double and it's absolutely great for this Arkansas heat and humidity. The worse that could happen is Dream Whip is discontinued, but I'm trying to keep them in business.

I've flavored it with a dram of Lorann Strawberry, replaced 1 cup of the powdered sugar with 3/4 cup cocoa powder, added 1/3 cup amaretto or bourbon or rum instead of half of the milk, used coconut extract instead of the vanilla (tastes like pina colada even though there's no pineapple), used a few drops of Lorann butter rum along with the vanilla...I've never had it come out bad icon_biggrin.gif

Oh, and don't even joke about Dream Whip being discontinued...LOL...I'm hooked on Indydebi's Buttercream.

I know this really isn't about the topic, but I found a product called "Whip It" at our local bulk food store. It's just like Dream Whip but less expensive and in the bulk. Just wanted to put that out there.

Good to know...I saw a store brand dream whip, but opted for the Dream Whip instead, but at least there are alternatives, cause Indydebi BC is here to stay!
