Is there any tricks to harden fondant faster? Putting in the fridge, does that work. I am making a loop bow for a cake for tomorrow, I made one earlier this week but my baby girl got ahold of it and broke it. So now I have to figure out something to get this bow made faster. Thanks for any advice.
Most definitely do not put it in the refrigerator. I haven't had to do this with fondant, but I did have a horrible problem with the gumpaste daisies for my last wedding cake. I put them in the oven with the oven OFF, but the pilot light ON. It took awhile, but they hardened right up. Good luck!

That work so well, my home it's very fresh have to much (humedad) i don't know how to say in english sorry. so everything that i do i have to put in the oven i did't turn on the light but at a emergency that it's perfect.
No, don't turn the oven on. Even warm is hot enough to melt your fondant.
Do you have some gumtex or tylose that you could knead into the fondant? That will stiffen it and help it dry faster. You can also roll it thinner to dry faster.
I did that, but I have put one together too soon, I guess, before and the loops started to crack and break apart after I put the bow together. I have already made the loops and I put the gum tex into it. I just hope that they harden up before in the morning so that I can put this bow together again.

I think the word you're looking for is 'Humidity'
Add some fixident to your fondant. It will harden up over night. Make sure you use the no color no flavor kind. I just squirt some in and mix it up. No exact measurment. Another cake friend told me this trick. You can totally eat it because it is meant to go in your mouth anyway and how often do people eat a rock hard fondant decoration anyway? Good luck.

You put fixident on false teeth to help them stay put in your mouth.
You can use the paste or powdered kind of fixident.
Tylose or gumtex is another thing that could be added to fondant to make it dry faster.
I use tylose powder to help my fondant things dry faster and harder and I put them infront of a fan in a dark place... only because I have found some bleaching of color happening that would make you want to cry. The perfect piece with a sunfade..hahahaha. Not cool.
