Hey it's me christy.. I have an order for next year.. It's a party for someone turning 85.. Western theme.
I have a year to practice. I wanted to know if any of you have step by step info on "how to" make a cowboy hat and a boot.. I want to TRY to make these two to go on either side of the BIG cake.. I really, really, really want to try this.. Also what would be a price for cakes like these? Any and all info would be HIGHLY appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I wrote directions for a cowboy hat cake that I have sent to 100 people 
I can send them to you also if you'd like me to. Molly2 used the directions to make two cowboy hat cakes that turned out beautifully! I attempted to make cowboy boots but my cake was way too soft and they pretty much fell apart. I was doing a step by step of them but never did anything with them because the final product didn't turn out too well. I still have those pics somewhere if you're interested.
