I tried my first FBCT (Grinch in photos) and LOVE it!!! Previously I had only done colorflow pieces that I learned from Wilton 2, then I saw all the beautiful cakes done with FBCT and tried it. But the outline broke when I was taking the wax paper off. icon_sad.gif

What is the most important secret/tip you do for your FBCT?

I make sure the outline is covered with the final layer of icing (spread over the entire image before freezing) to prevent any breakage from occuring when removing from the paper. I've learned this after a few mishaps and it really makes a difference. Hope this helps.

hi,
I like to use plastic wrap to trace my images on instead of wax paper. The transfer is much easier to get off of the plastic wrap. It does take a little time to stretch it out, but it's worth it.
