I'm hesitant on what to say. I just think that us TX decorators need to be aware of this. I hope no other bride will have to go through what has been stated in the reviews.

Edited: Because I suck at proof-reading.

wow - that's bad.

Edited: I found this "article" on them. It's not a real article though. You can tell that they wrong it.

Wow that was pretty bad. I would call anyone who could do something and find this woman and put her out of business.
She is doing a great disservice to ppl on their special day and threatening to sue ppl who say negative things about her.

You have to go to the brides page that she links you to...then click her avatar to go to her profile. It is horrendous.

Dang it....I'm on a different computer now, and I can't get them up either. Shoot! Well, it is the cake on the avatar on Yelp...you just got to see even bigger ones and different angle shots on her personal page on the wedding site.

They applied what looked like wallpaper sheets with some sort of printed pattern, or maybe it was airbrushed, either way, looked like a 4 year old threw it together. Very unprofessional looking, and since we all know how FULL of themselves this cake company was, they sure as heck had no business putting out cakes anything less than perfect. icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

GAH!!! It's even worse than I remembered....and tell me that is not a foil covered cardboard ROUND?!?!

Edited to add: nuttin wrong with foil and cardboard rounds, but when it's a wedding cake, and you compared your business to artwork comparable to Picasso.....please don't give a bride a cake on a freaking foil covered little cardboard circle...HOLY CARP!

I don't even know what to say about that "cake". That is the most disturbing thing I have ever seen and that includes cake wrecks. If I thought I had to deliver a cake of that sub-standard, I would rather deliver no cake at all! If I were a bride, I would rather open a hundred boxes of Little Debbie's for my guests than to serve that monstrosity at my wedding! How could someone do that to a couple on their wedding day?! I'm so blown away by this...

well i cant really see the cake pictures as you have to be registered to see them

but the company's web page is gone.
There is just a server holding page there now.

The worst part is, is the page after page of nonsensical crap that "company" posted all over their website about how exclusive and designer and artistic they were. I wish someone had a shot of their webpages in history they could pull up. I mean they were nuts! PLUS, they had gobs of stolen pictures with removed watermarks too.

If I were a bride and found that on my cake table after seeing pictures of fabulous cakes and contacting for what i thought was a great cake I would have been pretty upset. I can hardly believe that is was subcontracted out. I won't dog the cake because it wasn't that long ago that couldn't make better and we don't know who made the cake...ect. I would be furious at the hired company!

I can't believe how sad that cake was. I couldn't imagine delivering a cake that looked like that or even think of charging someone for a cake that looked that bad!

I feel so bad for that bride. How awful!!

I am so utterly shocked and horrified by this cake. icon_surprised.gif It doesn't even look like a cake... it looks like a poorly made stack of pillows which someone tried to fix by gluing printed fabric around the edges. I would question its edibility (is that a word?) The bride did say she got food poisoning. It was probably from this cake! That poor, poor, poor bride. icon_sad.gif

I can not really trash the cake, I am not a fabulous decorator (although that is what I want to be when I grow up) but what are the fondant covered blobs next to it? And I am guessing those are the edible image strips "placed" on the cake. Wow. I would cry. Not tears of joy.
