Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any tips or ideas on how to correct a mistake on a cake. I misspelled a name, is there an easy way to fix this. Thank you ahead of time for any suggestions.

Hi, Melony. Just had a similar problem myself (mine was bad placement). As long as you let your icing crust before you wrote on it, you may be able to just scrape it off with a toothpick. Depending on the consistency of your icing, it may or may not leave a little residue, but hopefully you can cover it up when you redo it.
Mine left a little bit, but I'll just cover it up with a few flowers & leaves.

Good luck.
