For those of you who send along instructions when a cake has dowels in it...how do you word it? I am under the impression the girl who ordered the cake will be cutting it and just in case she isnt familiar with it, I would rather be safe. I am just looking for ideas on how to type out instructions for cutting the cake. TIA.

I'm no word wizard, but I'd just say something like, "There are internal supports in this cake. When you come to one, simply remove it before plating the piece."
