I never looked at my cookie cutters in a other way, than they are for. You got me here. So I took out all my cutters and turned them around and, this is what I came up with :
rabbit - "sweet tooth" Grandma (it is a vision of myself in the future, if I keep baking..) icon_lol.gif
dino - fire pit (not happy with this one) icon_rolleyes.gif
carrot - rocket space ship

Wow! These are great, Zlatka. I like all of them. Would never in a million years have thought of the bunny as a grandma, but it works!

And Bella, yours are terrific, too. (What is the grass skirt one supposed to be "in real life"...? I can't figure it out!)

I hope that I'm allowed to post an idea without pics- i don't have time to bake right now.

I've used an upside down evergreen tree cutter to make a bunch of grapes.

I gave my 5-year old some flip-flop cookies to decorate and these are what he came up with. I figured I'd post them since I can't think of anything to do for this months' theme (and I really wanted to). icon_cry.gif

I used Wilton's "buttercup" color. I just flooded the color, then when it was mostly dry, put little "dots" on top. I then used a paintbrush to lightly brush gold luster dust on it.

7yyrt - here's the first post that freddyfl made about the "creative cookie club"...

Quote:

So, I remember that there used to be a cookie of the month club and a theme of the month, but I think they both faded out......I loved those threads, so I am just gonna start my own.
Here is the general idea, every month there will be a theme and anyone who wants to can add to it. The only rule is that the cookies should be new creations and not ones that are already in your photo gallery.
Since March is more than half over I will start this for April. Since April 12th is Drop everything and read day the first theme will be to create your favorite book or books into a cookie.......post as many cookies as you want, use your imaginations, and have fun! There are no winners, with the exception of everybody getting to see the amazing creations that are posted. I hope that all you talented and creative cookie people out there participate, this could be a really fun thread!

There were some great ideas here. I can't wait to see the "July cookie club" What will be the theme?

Ok I've been trying to come up with something creative, but alas I keep coming back to the obvious theme for July: INDEPENDANCE

I think there are a lot of different ways you can go with this one, of course the 4th of July, but independance can mean a whole slew of things so ready, set, decorate!
