Hello CC lovers!
I've just finished my 2nd term and have just under a year until I will be qualified to cover with fondant, almond and all the use of jelly work, flood work and the use of royal icing.
My course does not cover buttercream and therefore, I don't think I'll get to the stage of having be able to know how to use ALL my piping tips properly. (I just recently bought a Wilton 56 tip set).

So, having said that, I wanted to know if anyone knows if there is a book for sale out there somewhere with instructions for the many piping tips availabe to use?
(I don't even know what tip to use to pipe Grass!)

That book is great! It was a standard in my cake decorating class. Also at the back of the Wilton Yearbooks, they list the tips and give an example of what they do.

I really love Ateco's little booklet that pictures all the tips, and has pictures of what you can do with them!! It is an online booklet, free of charge on their website!

do you know where you saw it for sale for $10? I had a look on ebay but there's none there.
Also there's a few international sellers (im from Aust) on Amazon but I'm a bit weary buying 2nd hand ones from people that didn't have 100% feedback as sellers.

I have a lot of tips from family, yard sales, and what I've purchased. My boyfriend bought me an Art box at the Container Store that has small boxed similar to those used for embroidery floss. I've numbered all the compartments for each tip since they're so hard to read. I also have another box that has 3 trays that I picked up in the tools section at Costco. I am so happy I have it all organized. I used the tip sheets to see what I have and don't have. All in all I have 88 different tips and many duplicates for those used most often! The sheets show what each one does, which is helpful since some do double duty.

The site you are trying to link to is blocked by cake central. There was a big drama with that seller awhile back and they are not "allowed" on this website. Apparently the owners had nothing but rudeness in them toward cake central and it's members.

The site has some extremely useful information and was good advice. Suffice to say the ebook being free or the purchased book costing only $4 US is a bargin.
I also have never had an issue with them but they do sell the same as the main advertiser globalsugarart
