Do you have anything to help me please. I mean some cakes less time and some more time, some use fondant others buttercream, all that stuff.

you need to sit down and work out the cost of ingredients. and the cost of getting them - gas for getting to the store, postage charges. the cost of baking and cleaning - gas/ electric/ water, washing liquid, etc. and a value of your time - at least minimum wage! and compare prices for similar cakes in your area. and then you can start figuring out some basic pricing.

most people have a basic charge for bc, then extra for fondant accents, extra for totally fondant, carved cakes are more too. so you will have your base prices for each, and if someone wants something that is more detailed, that will take a lot of time, that will cost more - it can tricky making up that part of the scale!

some people have a price for the common, basic flavours, and a charge for gourmet flavours too - so that depends what you are offering.

it is a tricky one to figure out, but once you get short changed, you will better learn what a fair price to your self is! of course, that doesnt mean everyone will want to pay that - dont let customers set your prices tho!
xx
