Making Suitcase Cakes

How do I make a suitcase cake any one have instructions on how to or even photos showing steps would be nice.

Hi, I haven't got any step by step to share. But I would make some sheet cakes and cut it to the sizes you want and have at least two layers for each cake. And make sure you use same size thin boards under the tiers that go on the bottom tier. And don't forget to dowel as well. For the straps and buckles I would use gumpsate or 50/50 mix of fondant and gumpaste. Here are some great suitcase cake photos from flikr.

I have one in my pics. I took two sheets and layered them. I covered it in MMF. I used cocoa powder to age it. I took gumpaste/fondant 50/50
for the straps, used a toothpick to make the stitching and for the buckles I used gumpaste and painted them with antique gold super luster dust.
