After taking a picture of my cake I started wondering if I should add anything to the top of the center cake..Does it look to plain? This is for a volunteer reception at my school. It's my first cake in three years..I've forgotten how much work it is..I'm pooped!! icon_confused.gif

I think it looks great. The other 2 have a lot on top, so the middle one with simple design looks great between the two. I don't think it needs anything. IMO

Thank you for the kind words.. icon_smile.gif

The cake was a hit and it looked great from far away... I was worried because of the icing bulge, but it wasn't too bad after all!!
