Help! I Need Instructions On How To Make A Wine Bottle Cake!

I was just asked to do a wine bottle cake for the middle of june.. but, i'm not sure how to make one of these. i've looked through some great pictures of them, but now i need some instructions!! can anyone help?

sharon zambito... on her blog... has a great instruction for a bottle made from chocolate.. look at this and see if that helps.. sharonssugarshack.com.... also , on this site.. there are several thread on making sugar bottles.. i can,t think of the titles ... but they are under forums.. maybe .. how do i.... or cake decorating. can,t remember which.. great tutorial..

the customer wants the bottle to be cake.. any ideas?

for one on it's side -- it's just a series of 1/2 rounds (round cake cut in half) and stood on edge -- for neck could even bake in soup cans and then split in half.

grease them up just like a regular pan.

stand upright

bake as per normal (I do 325)

test for done (would need a kabob skewer to reach far enough)

cool

then I'd take a can opener and cut out the bottom so I could just push it out like a one of those push-up ice cream pops.
