I did a google search and only found PS Supplies and Miss B's in the Indianapolis area. Does anyone know if there is any other cake supply places around here?

You can get some supplies at Michael's Crafts or Hobby Lobby. Also Walmart has a small selection. I would love a better option though. I will check out the ones you listed. I live in Westfield, so I typically go to Michael's and order what they don't have online.

Unbelievably, for as large as Indpls is, these are pretty much the only places.

Ms. B's is THE shop to go to, though. She's right off of I-465, west side of Indy, Crawfordsville Road exit, in Speedway (uh, think Indy 500 Racetrack). However, she usually closes on Race weekend, because the traffic is detoured right past her shop and it's crazy over there. She has a HUGE selection, two rooms of inventory, and if she doens't carry it, then you don't need it! Marsha (owner) has more cake knowledge than anyone I know and she's my go-to person when I have a problem.

PS Supplies is about 15 minutes from my house and I pop in there when I need one or two things. Ms. B's is about 40 minutes (one way) and it's where I buy most of my stuff. WELL WORTH THE DRIVE!!!

Thanks Indydebi, I was just in Miss B's the other day to get some supplies. I was also there one day last week getting red coloring (which they were out of) and the girl working there said that Marsha was out buying supplies. So that made me wonder if there was somewhere else that she got her supplies from in the area.

I do agree that she has a lot and I find myself going in there more and more. It's addicting!

Debi's right, Marsha ROCKS!!!!! With a few days notice she can get you just about anything!

The thing that I like about PS supplies is that they rent pans, so if you have a one time need, you can probably rent it from them instead of having to buy it.

If she's going up to Ft. Wayne to get supplies, she's probably going to Country Kitchen SweetArt, INC. It's a HUGE cake & candymaking supply warehouse, I believe I read that it's over 14,000 sq. ft. They sell to the public, as well as have a website and send out a catalog. I've always had GREAT service there, and the staff (family-owned) is very knowledgeable. My problem is...knowing when to STOP! I want to buy everything! It's a little bit of a drive, but it's worth it if you need to stock up on supplies, or if you just want to take a little daytrip to browse.

I live on the east side, so if I just need a few basics I go to PS Cake Supplies out on east Washington. Peggy at PS doesn't have the selection that Ms. B's does, but she will tell you everything she knows about cakes, and is as genuine as they come. She walked me through my first wedding cake, and I've done a half dozen since then. I bring her pictures, and I can tell that she's proud

Hello only a year late on this one lol. I love Ms. Bs I live on the east side and gladly drive out there to go to her shop. PS Cake Supplies I believe closed up. I heard that rumor but havent gone by to check it out. I wish we had more places. I am tired of Wilton crud I get at Michaels and Hobby Lobby. My mom and I are going to plan a trip up to Country Kitchen sometime soon hopefully.
