I would suggest using SatinIce, it tastes great, and their chocolate tastes just like a tootsie roll. You can go onto globalsugarart they have great prices, and ship quickly, their customer service is great. Not sure if they ship to your area but you can definitely check with them

I would suggest Satin Ice also, although I still hate the taste. You can try out Jennifer Dontz semi home made recipe. It uses ready made fondant.

As I see it Satin Ice seems to be the way to go... FOLLOW up Question: How is it for molding? will it harden like Wilton's? but with a slightly better taste?

Oh you actually have to get her DVD for the recipe. I'm sure you will never come back to anything else after you try hers.

Its "The easy and Tasty Way to perfect fondant". You can also email her to ask about things you would like to know. She is such a nice person and is willing to help you.

I'm not sure which is better but both will be worth it. If you prefer getting the fondant recipe, check out the dvd I just mentioned.

Goo luck =]

I think the recipe is on both of her DVDs. McCalls and choc-o-pan are both very good. I've never had anyone peel choc-o-pan off of a cake. I haven't found anyone in the US that sells McCalls so I haven't been able to buy it but I did taste it at ICES and it was delicious.
