Help!!! Is there any way I can make fondant dry quicker? Freezer? I forgot to make a bow ahead of time and I just made it this morning and I need the bow by 3pm!!!! help!!!!
I just put my in the fridge and it makes it a little harder but be careful with the condensation. I don't know if you have engough time to make another out of gumpaste Gumpaste dries very quickly!
I had that same problem so I make all my bows or other accents that need to hold their shape out of gumpaste or a gumpaste/fondant mix.
I hope that helps. Goodluck!!!
I think time is against you. Definitely don't put it in the freezer. try putting it under a fan, the air circulation will speed drying time.
Yes, the best thing for drying fondant is time. If you can get ahold of some gum paste (I go to the craft store and buy pre-made in a pinch), it should dry a bit faster. Good luck!

You can help dry in a food dehydrator. I've never done it but I've read it on here.
Or in the oven ---NO HEAT--just the oven light on. This works for me for flat pieces.
Unfortunately for a bow, I think you might be stuck. Even with some extra help, it's not going to be firm enough without the gumpaste (IMO).
