Hello:
I'm going to be making a wedding cake several months from now and the bride wants a hydrangea cake similar to the wedding cake in the attached photo.
I've been looking online and so far I can't find where to purchase the separators. Does anyone here know where I can purchase the separators from?
Thx
Dina
Those look like something that could be easily made - maybe cut thick foamboard, cover with fondant ... done.
Wow! Why didn't I think of that! That would explain why I couldn't find it anywhere!
Thx
Dina
Glad to know, I was wondering about that too. Can someone explain how to assemble something like that? Support?

I just looked at your blog - what fun! Like I need another site to spend my time on, but I will definitely be following this one!! Be sure to let us know how the separators turn out.

Pretty basic... just use whatever supports you normally use in a stacked cake and instead of putting the next cake on top of the supports, put the foam block, then the next cake on top of that. Some royal icing on top of the block to "glue" the next layer to. Piece of cake, literally.
One thing about the desing...only one layer white? it looks like she run out of flowers
I hope this is close to what you're looking for, but k8memphis did something similar for her daughter and took photos of the whole process! Here's the link
