I just launched my long awaited line of dessert inspired cookies on my website and I am so excited about it! I have been doing nothing but edible image cookies. I had at one time considered adding "regular" cookies to my menu, but didn't want to spend the time on research and development. I thought to keep it simple, do one thing and do it well. Then, I had a burst of creativity that I knew I couldn't fight, so I did it. I don't do anything normal icon_lol.gif , so I don't make chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, peanut butter, or any other common flavors. All my flavors are inspired by popular desserts.

If I got you curious, please go check them out and I would love to know what you think. I also came up with a signature package that I am proud of, also pictured on my site.

Oh, I checked 'em out and they sound soooo yummy! I'm really liking the look of that cherry cordial one! mmmmm!
Your printed cookies are also great.
I was wondering, there have been so many discussions back and forth about the 'right' printer to buy for EI's... which did you choose and did you opt for the frosting sheets or wafer paper? I just love how clear and detailed they are!

oh geez! i looked at this just before lunch! now all i want is cookies. i love the idea, i love the cookie flavors-i love it all!

the only thing i might add is to put an approximate idea of how big a .5 oz, 1 oz and 2 oz cookie would be. for me, even though i make cookies, i wouldn't have a clue how big they would be.

really though, so so would love to taste each and every one of them! congrats on your hard work.

I have a Cannon MX700. I had a Cannon IP4200, but it died on me last week while trying to print images for an order!!! icon_cry.gif I got lucky, though on my search for a new printer that used the same ink tanks I already had. I went to like 7 stores and none of them had one, but one did. I was afraid I was going to have to pay $180, which was the online price. It was $129 on the shelf, but then rang up $79.99!! icon_eek.gif I had been wanting an all-in-one, but not until I justified it. It all worked out!

It all depends on the recipe and how much the cookies spread. .5 oz are bite sized between 1-1.5 inches. 1 oz are about standard size drop cookie, 2-2.5 inches. 2 oz. are larger and about 3-3.5 inches. Hope this helps! icon_wink.gif

Thanks ckdcr8r. I understand they all spread different, just thought it would be an idea to put it up there somehow. But I am totally in love with the site as is and wish I was your neighbor-I'd be over there sampling every day! lol

Oh, and now my arm's length list of things I want has gotten longer-I want a printer too!

they sound really good! however, *most* people love the basic flavors, chocolate chip (my fav!), peanut butter, etc. one suggestion would be to add them and come up with really cool/clever names for them...

Did you have to have a special license/permit to be able to ship them out of state?

I don't believe so. Should I? I am pretty sure there aren't any restrictions for out of state shipping. Does anyone else have to have a permit?

It depends. For example, in Ohio you can ship out of state if you are licensed, but if you are following the Ohio Cottage Laws (legal), then you can only sell within the state of Ohio. You will have to check with your state.
